Jamey Aebersold - Puts out tons of jazz charts. Great one is "Nothin but the Blues"
1) Piano - pg. 113 & 129 we want to work a song each week for sight reading
2) Reference this website Click here to pick songs that are most familiar to you and we will fill this chart in below and we'll check it at your next week. (once you can quick identify we will start ear training and sight singing)
3) Please practice 0-2-2-1-2's -HANDS TOGETHER a) Randomly find a chord and play it. (root position) b) Randomly choose a chord and spell NO PIANO - DON'T LOOK!!! c) Inverting exercises afterward Root, 1st inversion, 2nd inversion
4) Find songs that BEST fit your voice
