DO RHYTHM EAR TRAINING! Play your vocal part on the piano with a metronome and nailing the rhythms...
1) My Romance & Autumn Leaves a) Play melody only with metronome b) Then play the chords with the right hand & the bass notes with the left hand (with metronome) c) Once comfortable playing then sing over the top
2) Piano pg. 116 (hands separately & think triplet at all times!)
3) 5th Sirens up and down the voice. Do with scales.
4) Bb-Scale 2 octaves hands SEPARATELY (when the LH 3 then RH is on 4 & vice versa) Bb-Arpeggio (remember your 3 notes are Bb, D, & F) - Both hands start on the 3rd finger - You will go under right away with the RH Eb-Scale 2 octaves hands separately (groups of 2 blacks use 3rd finger & groups of 3 use 4th) Eb-Arpeggio - Plays just like the C# Arpeggio - RH starts on 4th finger & LH start on 2nd finger
5) C, F & G Blues scales -(Play 2 octaves & play over dominant chord then switch hands) -G, C & D Blues scales -D, G & A Blues scales
